A shaded garden can be just as engaging as a sunny flower bed. The PlantsGram Shade Garden Collection pairs the foliage of Caladium and Hosta with Begonia, Eucharis Lily and Gloxinia. Their different leaf shapes and flowers give you several ways to style a sheltered garden corner or a group of individual pots.

Choose this collection for a space with bright, filtered light and the flexibility to care for each selection separately. Hosta prefers cooler conditions and is not a suitable choice for every hot Indian location. Caladium and Eucharis favour warmth, so assess your growing space and local climate before selecting the full collection.

Five selections, ten planting pieces

Five selections × two pieces each = ten pieces. Depending on the plant, the planting material consists of tubers, bulbs or rooted crowns/divisions. These are not ten ready-flowering plants. Decorative pots, soil, mature blooms and other props in the mockup are illustrative and are not included. Colours and foliage patterns pictured should not be treated as confirmed cultivar colours.

Growing guidance for separate pots

Use pots with drainage holes and a freely draining mix. Choose sizes to suit the mature plants. A shade garden still needs adequate light; deep darkness is unsuitable. Follow each selection's planting method and confirmed packet instructions.

• Begonia Top Size: the illustrated method assumes tuberous Begonia. Set its hollow side upwards, shallow near the surface, in partial shade. Keep the mix moist without waterlogging.
• Caladium: place the eyes upwards with approximately 5 cm of cover. Provide warmth, dappled shade and moisture during leaf growth.
• Eucharis Lily: keep the bulb neck tip above the mix. Give warm, bright shade and evenly moist, draining conditions.
• Gloxinia: set the hollow tuber side up, close to the surface. Provide bright indirect light and keep watering off the leaves.
• Hosta: spread the roots and keep the crown at soil level. Provide partial shade, moist soil and a suitably cooler growing environment.

Rest cycles differ. Reduce water when an individual plant naturally slows or loses its leaves; do not impose the same dry rest on all five. Planting seasons depend on your region and supplied stock. Keep all planting pieces away from children and pets; ornamental material is not for eating.
