FAQs

What makes Suvarnarekha different from other mangoes?
It's an early-season Andhra Pradesh variety (also called Sundari) with light yellow, red-blushed fruit and abundant sweet juice, ready by April-May.

When does it start fruiting?
Edible fruiting typically begins 1.5-2 years after planting.

Can I grow this in a pot?
Yes, in a pot at least 25x25 inches; it will need a larger container or ground planting as it matures.

How much watering does it need near harvest?
Stop watering about 30 days before harvest — this improves fruit sweetness.
