Anthurium (tailflower, flamingo flower, laceleaf) is a rare, evergreen perennial indoor flowering plant with glossy heart-shaped leaves and long-lasting pink spathe flowers. It blooms almost year-round with enough bright, indirect light and is considered a low-maintenance houseplant.

• Soil: Very porous, well-drained mix. Use fibrous matter like coconut husk chips, peat, sand, chopped moss, or charcoal.
• Fertilizer: Phosphorus-rich fertilizer 2-3 times a year, especially outside the flowering period. Established plants need very little feeding.
