Tecoma gaudichaudi is known as “Yellow bells” because of its beautiful yellow bell-shaped blooms. Common name are Yellow bells, yellow tecoma, Gaudi chaudi, yellow trumpetbush, yellow elder, ginger-thomas etc. It is Shrub belongs to Bignoniaceae or Jacaranda family. The Tecoma plant is native to tropical and subtropical regions, cultivated in the southern United States. It is found in India, California, New Mexico, Texas and Florida.

Tecoma Grows up to 2 to 4 meters height and 2 to 4 meters wide can be pruned heavily after flowering to keep it compact. The blooms are brilliant yellow, 2 inches long in Trumpet shape and arranged in a beautiful cluster. The flower clusters are fragrant, attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.

It is an evergreen perennial flowering shrub to medium size tree that blooms all year but produces the most from September to November. It is one of the oldest and most commonly used flowering plants, and its eye-catching blossoms make it a fascinating addition to your collection.
